I’m just going to leave this here.

Nobody likes that facet of God’s love.
Nobody wants to admit praying for your enemies includes the Taliban and Al-Qaeda and Kony. Praying for true blessings on them and for mercy and forgiveness and not just praying that they die.

On FIRE

okay so about us being on fire for the Lord

that means we have to have something to be on fire about

its not like we can THINK ourselves into being on fire.

its not something to try and try and try to DO more of.

its about BEING.

so what should we be on fire about?

well what does fire mean…

“be kindled.to glow as if on fire. to become inflamed with passion; become excited.”

so to glow, be passionate.

about what?

GRACE.

and how do we become passionate about grace?

realize how much we fail. realize how much we cannot earn salvation. realize that its NOT about what we do. because we can never DO enough. 

but we cannot stay in the place of self-pity.

in light of our falleness, thats where we become so thankful and needy of grace, that we become passionate about sharing that grace with others.

so lets pray that God shows us our NEED for grace, and gives us a passion to share His AMAZING grace with others
